About The Position

Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization. This is a permanent on-site position. Work schedule is every other Wednesday 7am-730pm and every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7am-730pm. We are an operations that works 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Mainframe experience is helpful but not required.
• Able to multi-task by using many different communications channels.
• Knowledge of JCL (job control language).
• Ability to type and take phone calls.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Call Center or Information Technology.
• Knowledge of Programming Language - HyperText Markup Language (HTML).
• Experience with Research Analytics.
• Using intermediate to advanced functionality of Microsoft Excel (for example, pivot tables and basic macros).
• Using SAP and Ariba to access and review contracts.
• Background in creating inclusive digital experiences and knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor batch flows and escalate if SLA will be missed.
• Restart 70% of the batch job while taking phone calls.
• Monitor mainframe and open systems where batch jobs run, ensuring systems are stable.
• Provide 24/7 L2 Support for Walmart & Sams around the globe for batch schedulers that run on the mainframe and open systems.
• Support customers through different channels of communications whether it be a phone call, Zoom, Slack or Team.
