About The Position
The Systems Administrator Server is responsible for the operational support of host systems/applications owned or operated by Asante. These systems include, but are not limited to, Windows server applications, client and server systems, data storage systems, and security systems. The Systems Administrator Server role follows established procedures to support existing systems/applications to meet the ITS goals of high availability, cost containment, and operational efficiency, and develops new system support procedures for designated systems under the guidance of more senior technical resources. This may include the development or oversight of backup, maintenance, and security procedures, and coordination of the work of outside support specialists. Other responsibilities may include system monitoring, data backup and restoration, application support, user account administration, routine maintenance activities, system security, and other administrative tasks as assigned. System Administrator Server routinely acts as a support resource for projects and system implementations. The System Administrator Server serves as tier 2 and 3 technical support for designated systems.
