Requirements

  • Proficient in networking skills including knowledge of TCP, UDP, and Ping.
  • Experience with Netplan and NetworkManager for static and DHCP setups.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing access issues.
  • Familiarity with storage technologies such as HDD, SSD, NVMe, LVM, RAID, and NFS.
  • Proficient in navigating Linux filesystems and understanding permissions.
  • Experience in adjusting VM configurations and resources.
  • Ability to install applications from various sources.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced skills in iptables for access control and port forwarding.
  • Ability to set up Open vSwitch and Linux bridges.
  • Experience setting up MDADM and LVM for storage management.
  • Experience with libvirt VMs and XML configuration for virtualization.
  • Ability to connect VMs to networks using bridges.
  • Proficient in installing and configuring MySQL/MariaDB for database management.
  • Experience with Docker or Podman for container management.
