The NAMC - Systems Administrator supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, peripheral, and networking problems in stressful situations. They will explain technical concepts to inexperienced users, optimize, fine-tune, and monitor operating system software and hardware, install and configure software and hardware, create Incident Reports on system issues, and perform system data collection. The role also involves providing server, workstation, and application expertise to government, civilian, and contractor users, supporting other work centers and the test community, and coordinating with other Mission Assurance Centers. Shift work is required to support 24/7 operations, and the candidate must be available to work any shift/designated hours required, including nights, weekends, and holidays on a modified Panama schedule.
