Help us transform our workforce of the future, today. We are seeking a Database Administrator to join Zions Bancorporation. The Database Administrator plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of the data of the organization, while facilitating Business developments and innovations through deploys and user provisioning. We are looking for a Database Administrator who can focus on detailed data problems and come up with creative and efficient solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years Oracle Exadata Systems Administration Experience
  • 8+ years Oracle Database Administration
  • 10+ years' experience with Oracle. Experience in SQL Server/Postgres/Db2 is a plus
  • Oracle 19c, multi-tenant, RAC, Active DataGuard
  • Knowledge of UNIX and Linux Systems administration
  • Database Administration Operations: Clone, Backup, Restore, Troubleshooting, Performance Tuning, Query tuning
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills within the team and with Business affiliates
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications
  • Experience managing complex customer-facing platforms, processes, and tools. Strong working knowledge of financial/banking systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support Business partners with their database needs
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and processes
  • Collaborate with our business partners to troubleshoot performance issues
  • Work closely with great teammates to ensure system resources are at optimum levels
  • Coordinate and perform patching efforts
