About The Position

ITC is a Woman Owned Small Business delivering exceptional consultation to the U.S. Government in Systems/Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Solutions, Mission Operations/INTEL Analysis, and Management Services in order to enable our customers to solve the most challenging problems. With continued growth comes opportunity, and we are currently searching for a Top Secret SCI with polygraph-cleared Mid-Level Systems Administrator . Description: Creates, and maintains RedHat Linux virtual machines running in a cloud infrastructure (Amazon AWS). Evaluates systems for IAVA compliance and applies necessary security updates/patches. Performs command line system administration tasks on virtual machines. Handles regular system backups and periodically tests backups for functionality. Communicates with developers and dev ops team members to provide system administration support.

Requirements

Requires TS/SCI with FS or CI Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
10 years’ experience as a SA in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Linux command line system administration (CentOS, RedHat, Amazon Linux, or equivalent)
Experience applying system updates via yum or equivalent patching repository
Experience working within a cloud environment a plus (Amazon AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud infrastructure with virtual machines)

Nice To Haves

Experience or knowledge of RedSeal Network Mapping tool a plus
Knowledge of software deployed on systems a plus but not required (Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Nifi)
Syslog/NxLog
Nagios or other similar monitoring applications
Scripting experience (Python/Perl)
