As a System Administrator, you will be working on cutting edge Military technology that directly supports the modern-day warfighter. ISPA Technology is looking for a Junior or Mid-Level System Administrator to join our team in this Full-Time, Onsite position in Panama City Beach, FL for your opportunity help develop the future of our military.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 2-5 years of experience supporting IT/IS Systems in a DoD environment
  • Experience troubleshooting issues related to Active Directory topology, and related features in a domain environment
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols and applications
  • Experience with data cabling / computer facilities maintenance
  • Experience with repair/installation, knowledge of main internal components of a computer system, replacement of these parts; ability to install software, operating systems, drivers, maintain RAID controllers, etc.
  • Experience using remote hardware diagnostics through system management technologies
  • Knowledge of centralized patching and configuration solutions, such as WSUS and the System Center Suite
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Storage Area Networks (SANS) preferred
  • Previous experience maintaining Military ISR systems preferred
  • Previous experience supporting deployed warfighters and defense agencies preferred
  • Experience with SQL Server 2012, IIS and Certificate Management is a plus
  • PowerShell & Python scripting experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing Systems Administrator duties on designated Military systems
  • Responsible for performing system maintenance procedures including diagnostics, patch management, scanning, and settings management
  • Responsible for assisting in data cabling, data labeling, and other lab hardware installation procedures
  • Responsible for troubleshooting issues and reporting findings
  • Responsible for performing software upgrades to embedded systems and computers
  • Up to 25% travel is required
