About The Position

The Systems Administrator - IV position is a 12-month contract role based in Richmond, VA. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide high-level support for all critical systems and applications, ensuring zero or minimal downtime. The candidate will be expected to work in a hybrid/onsite mode, collaborating with various teams to maintain and enhance system performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level support for all critical systems and applications with zero or minimal downtime.
• Manage Oracle (Solaris) and Redhat Linux Virtualizations.
• Administer IBM WebSphere across various versions on both Solaris and Linux.
• Handle IBM MQ on both Solaris and Linux.
• Support TREP (Thompson Reuters Enterprise Platform), RMDS (Reuters Markets Data System), DACS, and Wombat.
• Manage storage provisioning using Client (3PAR) administration.
• Monitor OS and applications using FogLight and BMC patrol.
• Perform backups using Commvault and Veritas NetBackup with Symantec appliances.
• Provision servers using Client Opsware.
• Manage user and server access provisioning using CentrifyDC.
• Have hands-on experience with Informatica, including installation and operational understanding.
