About The Position

Designing and Implementing cloud infrastructure solutions that meet our business requirements, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles Monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing the performance and availability of our cloud environment Implementing and enforcing security best practices to protect our cloud resources and data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations Developing and implementing automation strategies to streamline processes and improve efficiency Diagnosing and resolving complex issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations Working closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on cloud solutions Researching and evaluating new cloud technologies and trends to identify opportunities for improvement #LI-TF1

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Familliar with Cloud based technologies to include AWS GovCloud, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or similar cloud experiance
  • Be able to Design, deploy, and manage Cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
  • Provision and configure EC2 instances, VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and other AWS resources
  • Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of Cloud resources
  • Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies for critical data
  • Automate tasks and processes using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  • Manage and optimize Cloud costs

Nice To Haves

  • Cloud Certifications to include but not limited to: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CCP)
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
  • AWS Certified Developer
  • Developing the DevSecOps and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) architecture of small systems or subsystems of larger systems
  • Selecting tools, technologies, and methodologies that support automated build, deploy, operation, and monitoring of systems
  • Coordinating across cross-functional teams to remove impediments to CI/CD in order to accelerate capability delivery and increasing the quality and reliability of operational system
  • Being ultimately responsible for the DevSecOps architecture of the sub-system
