Shape the Mission. Engineer the Future. GDIT is your place to lead, innovate, and drive strategic change. We are seeking a Mid-Level Systems Administrator / Integrator with proven experience delivering mission-critical integration for complex, multi-domain DoD environments. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of geospatial and intelligence system evolution — leading integration efforts, shaping architectural solutions, and mentoring technical teams. As a Mid-Level Systems Administrator / Integrator, you will be part of a team responsible for administration and integration of advanced geospatial and intelligence platforms. Your work will translate operational and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and forward-looking architectures that align with modernization and convergence efforts.

  • Assist with integration strategies across multi-vendor software stacks and hardware baselines.
  • Engage directly with Army stakeholders to refine system requirements, track dependencies, and drive alignment across multiple government organizations.
  • Provide technical guidance across full system lifecycles — from concept to operational deployment — ensuring rigorous engineering discipline and mission continuity.
  • Participate in the development and integration test strategies, manage system validation efforts, and oversee performance tuning and issue resolution for both imagery and geospatial software baselines.
  • Support integration efforts and manage complex issues in real-time and driving improvements for interoperability and readiness.
  • Create system-level architecture views, data flow diagrams, and interface designs.
  • Assist with the generation of integration artifacts including test plans, conformance matrices, and cross-domain interface documentation.
  • Interface with senior DoD stakeholders to provide updates, recommendations, and roadmap alignment.
  • Provide expertise in Army's Gold Master baselines and guide transition planning for new software versions.
  • Apply advanced scripting and automation (especially PowerShell) to streamline integration, testing, and configuration management.
  • Contribute to high-level technical decision-making with the mindset of 'trust but verify,' driving standards across engineering teams and integration workstreams.
  • Deliver consistently under time-sensitive conditions and provide executive-ready briefings, updates, and status reports.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) 8140 IAT Level II: CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or GSEC.
  • Hands-on expertise with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop, and supporting geospatial toolkits.
  • Experience integrating with Army tactical systems and understanding of Geospatial Engineer (12Y) workflows across Army echelons.
  • Familiarity with Army organizational constructs, GPC operations, and MIB-T system support environments.
  • Knowledge of secure DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipelines supporting rapid capability deployment.
  • Advanced PowerShell Skills: Proficient in developing robust, production-level scripts.
  • Medical plan options, some with Health Savings Accounts.
  • Dental plan options.
  • Vision plan.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Full flex work weeks where possible.
  • Paid time off plans including vacation, sick and personal time, holidays, paid parental, military, bereavement and jury duty leave.
  • Short and long-term disability benefits.
  • Life, accidental death and dismemberment, personal accident, critical illness and business travel and accident insurance.
