About The Position

EFC International is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator III to join our IT Infrastructure team in St. Louis. This role serves as a senior technical leader responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure systems while managing multiple concurrent projects. This position requires both strategic planning and hands-on technical work supporting infrastructure installations, system upgrades, and complex troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Five or more years of systems or infrastructure administration experience including experience leading technical projects.
  • Strong experience with VMware virtualization platforms.
  • Knowledge of enterprise networking includes routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 identity services including Azure AD or Entra ID.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager Intune and Group Policy.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies such as Dell iDRAC, Cisco Meraki, Zscaler, and Tenable.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting or automation experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with VMware vSphere and disaster recovery planning.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure projects from planning through deployment while managing timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.
  • Design, implement, and support high availability server and virtualization environments using VMware.
  • Support enterprise network infrastructure including routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 identity and access solutions using Entra ID Azure AD, Conditional Access, and Identity Protection.
  • Collaborate with endpoint teams on device management using Microsoft Endpoint Manager Intune and Group Policy.
  • Develop automation and scripting solutions using PowerShell or similar tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and participate in annual testing.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to members of the infrastructure team.
  • Perform hands on infrastructure work including server installations, network equipment setup, and hardware support when required.
  • Collaborate with endpoint teams to deploy policies through Microsoft Endpoint Manager Intune and Group Policy.
  • Integrate vulnerability scanning, patching, and compliance monitoring into infrastructure operations using tools such as Tenable.
