The Krantz Family Center for Cancer Research (KF-CCR) and the Department of Pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital are seeking a Systems Administrator to support the deployment and operation of a new, high-performance computing (HPC) cluster enabling cutting-edge AI/ML, genomics, and single-cell sequencing research. The ideal candidate has strong Linux administration experience, familiarity with distributed computing and containerized environments, and enjoys collaborating directly with scientists to help accelerate discovery. This position offers the opportunity to shape an emerging research computing platform from the ground up while working with world-class investigators across Mass General Brigham. The Krantz Family Center for Cancer Research (KF-CCR) and the Department of Pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital are deploying a new, state-of-the-art high-performance computing (HPC) cluster to accelerate computational research across our community. We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Systems Administrator to lead and support the technical operation of this new infrastructure. You will work closely with faculty, postdocs, and data scientists developing cutting-edge workflows in cancer genomics, single-cell and spatial sequencing, image analysis, and machine learning, while partnering with MGB Enterprise Research Infrastructure & Services for seamless integration and scale.
