We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience across technical support, security management, cloud platforms, and Microsoft technologies, with strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to system reliability and user support.

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for end users and IT projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technology needs.
  • Manage security tools, patch management, and endpoint protection.
  • Monitor and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
  • Participate in internal and external audits; ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Monitor and verify backup processes; conduct regular recovery tests.
  • Maintain data integrity and availability across systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Review system and security logs; generate regular reports for IT leadership.
  • Create knowledge base articles for internal users and IT staff.
  • Manage users, groups, and permissions within Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive services.
  • Ensure proper identity and access management (IAM) practices.
  • Perform regular system log reviews and escalate anomalies as needed.
  • Support audit processes by providing system access logs and configuration details.
  • Work closely with internal departments and external partners to align IT services with business goals.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Participate in regular IT meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, IT Support Specialist, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, and Firewall rules.
  • Familiarity with backup/recovery tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of system security practices and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as MCSA, Microsoft 365 Certified, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or CompTIA Network+/Security+.
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
  • Exposure to ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
