About The Position

The Systems Administrator will provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of information technology (IT) systems. This role involves managing IT system infrastructure and processes related to these systems, ensuring day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, and mobile devices. The position includes providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of issues. The Systems Administrator will also support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers, configure and manage UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems, and implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Additionally, the role requires compliance with applicable system security controls and the implementation of IAVA security patches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Fifteen (15) years of experience as a Systems Administrator in similar programs and contracts.
  • Six (6) years of experience with Service Management (ITSM).
  • ITIL 4 platform certification.
  • Four (4) years of experience with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Two (2) years of experience integrating ServiceNow with other applications.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.

  • Implement IAVA security patches and ensure patch status is recorded.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization.
  • Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware and software integration.
  • Support the design of systems and mission architecture.
