About The Position

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a seasoned Systems Administrator to lead the deployment, configuration, and support of BeyondTrust security solutions for a federal program out of Chantilly, VA. The Systems Administrator role involves managing privileged access tools, ensuring secure remote connectivity, and maintaining compliance with federal cybersecurity standards.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience working in an enterprise or cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a Bachelor's degree in related field OR Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience (10+ years of experience can also be substituted)
1-2 years+ of hands-on experience with BeyondTrust solutions (Required)
Proficiency in Windows, Active Directory, and PowerShell
Strong experience implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) and other security measures
Experience troubleshooting RDP and SSH protocols
IAT Level II or higher certification required (e.g. Sec+)
Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (DISA STIGS, NIST 800-53, FISMA)
Must have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience integrating BeyondTrust with platforms such as ServiceNow or Nice CXOne

Responsibilities

Administer and support BeyondTrust platforms including Remote Support, Privileged Remote Access, and Password Safe
Manage user provisioning, role-based access controls, and permissions within BeyondTrust environments
Conduct routine security assessments and implement enhancements such as multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Deliver user onboarding, training, and technical guidance for BeyondTrust tools
Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to align with DISA STIGs, NIST 800-53, and FISMA compliance standards
