About The Position

The Systems Administrator is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration or a similar IT role.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining servers, networks, and IT infrastructure.
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure high levels of availability and security.
• Installing and configuring software, hardware, and networks.
• Performing regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Supporting disaster recovery and backup procedures.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless IT operations and support.
