We are committed to providing reliable, secure, and innovative technology solutions across all subsidiaries. We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator. The System Administrator provides technical support and ensures the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems across The Taylor Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries. This role supports servers, workstations, mobile devices, and networks while helping the organization maintain a secure and efficient technology environment. The System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of system hardware and software, as well as network resources and end-user devices. The role involves managing IT security measures, monitoring systems for reliability, and ensuring that users have the necessary tools to work effectively. This position reports to the Manager of Systems Admins.

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and end-user devices across the organization.
  • Administer and troubleshoot local and wide-area networks, including wired, wireless, and VPN connectivity.
  • Configure and maintain network equipment such as switches, routers, and firewalls to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
  • Monitor network traffic, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Manage and monitor IT security, including firewalls, anti-virus protection, authentication systems, and threat prevention measures.
  • Support enterprise applications, productivity tools, and collaboration platforms.
  • Support and train users across all company locations.
  • Assess and recommend technological solutions to meet business needs.
  • Manage system backups, updates, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Ensure IT documentation, policies, and procedures are kept current.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to maintain system uptime and security.
  • Install, configure, and maintain system software, hardware, and connected devices (e.g., printers, plotters, peripherals) across all company sites and subsidiaries.
  • Ensure the security of internal and external networks, including configuring firewalls, monitoring activity, and addressing potential threats in coordination with managed service providers.
  • Monitor and maintain endpoint protection and email security to prevent viruses, malware, and spam.

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, PCs, and network infrastructure to ensure secure file sharing and reliable performance.
  • Administer VPN connections and remote access solutions for employees and subsidiaries.
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to ensure they meet business and technical requirements.
  • Support and troubleshoot networking, including TCP/IP, routing, subnetting, and wireless technologies.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline IT operations, improve efficiency, and reduce manual tasks.
  • Create, manage, and enforce Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to ensure consistent configuration, security, and compliance across the organization.
