The System Test Engineer is responsible for translating customer requirements, contractual obligations, and technical constraints into integrated test, evaluation, and transition strategies that support delivery of enterprise capabilities. This role supports the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of system integration and test activities to ensure systems meet defined requirements for performance, reliability, and operability. In this role, you will develop and implement test and evaluation strategies, plans, procedures, and schedules that validate system and enterprise capability requirements. You will define verification and validation approaches, including customer acceptance criteria, and ensure full traceability of requirements throughout the system lifecycle. You will coordinate closely with stakeholders to support system integration, test readiness, evaluation, and transition activities, while establishing and following standardized processes and best practices. This includes assessing system designs, architectures, risks, and requirements to determine testability and integration impacts. You will execute and oversee testing activities, analyze results, and produce comprehensive evaluation reports, including risk assessments and performance metrics. You will also review and validate system discrepancies, conduct regression testing to confirm implemented fixes, and ensure continued compliance with requirements through formal verification methods. In addition, you will monitor testing processes for continuous improvement, incorporate lessons learned, and provide direct support to customers and program stakeholders throughout integration and transition efforts.
