About The Position
Job Title: System Test Engineer Location: Redmond, WA Onsite/ Remote: Day 1 Onsite at customer location The pay range for this role is $60k- $75k per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. - VoLTE Architecture & Call Flows
- 5 to 10 years in relevant technical roles.
- A technical degree in fields such as B.Tech, ECE, EE, CS, BSc, MSc or similar.
- LTE and 5G NR technologies
- LTE protocols, IMS, VoLTE, and legacy 3GPP2 networks.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of LTE and 5G NR technologies.
- Operate test simulators including Keysight, R&S, and Anritsu.
- Understand 3GPP, CTIA standards, carrier processes, and lab testing procedures.
- Possess expertise in LTE protocols, IMS, VoLTE, and legacy 3GPP2 networks.
- Analyze logs using tools like QXDM and ELT.
- Communicate effectively and interact professionally with clients.
- Be flexible to work in shifts and on weekends.
- Efficiently handle and resolve technical issues.
- Troubleshoot test failures, perform initial triage, and document clear reproduction steps to assist developers in isolating problems.
- Engage in brainstorming sessions with peers to enhance automated test coverage and improve test automation solutions.
- Collaborate with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, aiming for root cause identification.
- Conduct ad hoc and exploratory testing beyond predefined test cases and user stories.
- Record defects and bugs in the Jira tracking system.
