About The Position

As a Test & Integration engineer for the Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) Program, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and integrating software, firmware, and hardware for the AN/SPY-6 Radar. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: System test experience, coding skills, and good communication skills. What sets you apart: Understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theories Working knowledge of system test strategies, procedures, and debugging skills Development of test scripts using Python Familiarity with Linux Familiarity with Linux Shell and Shell Scripting Development and Execution of tests on a complex system Solid skills in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions Understanding of Networking including familiarity with Networking tools (e.g., Wireshark) Software Design & Implementation experience a plus C/C++ experience a plus Solid verbal and written communications Collaborative team player Shows initiative on assignments, exercises independent judgment and professionally executes projects with little direction Knowledge of automation a plus Familiarity with RTI DDS and QOS settings and configuration a plus Familiarity with MATLAB and/or NumPy a plus

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
  • Agile experience preferred.
  • Must have experience coding experiece.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
