About The Position

Our client is a leading energy company and the world's largest generator of renewable energy from wind and sun. Join their Engineering and Construction team as an Entry-Level System Planning Engineer, supporting critical renewable energy and transmission projects that power communities and protect the environment. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience with solar, wind, battery storage, and transmission projects while working with industry-standard engineering tools and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field
  • 0-5 years of experience in power systems or renewable energy
  • Knowledge of electrical power systems fundamentals
  • Familiarity with engineering software and modeling tools preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Interest in renewable energy and sustainability

Responsibilities

  • Collect and validate engineering drawings and technical datasheets from internal and external sources
  • Support power system modeling and technical studies using industry-standard software
  • Maintain organized project documentation including drawings, specifications, and equipment data
  • Track study progress and coordinate with internal teams and external consultants
  • Assist with compliance activities and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of engineering data and deliverables
  • Contribute to the success of renewable energy project development
