About The Position

We are seeking a temporary System Navigator to provide wraparound navigation services for CalCRG participants, supporting their economic, physical, and emotional well-being. This role involves connecting clients to resources and services, including physical and mental health care, substance use treatment, housing support, employment and education programs, cognitive behavioral interventions, legal services, and other supports based on individual needs. Responsibilities include processing referrals from community organizations, courts, and law enforcement agencies; participating in community and health fairs; assisting with benefits enrollment; and providing housing navigation and basic needs support. The System Navigator will coordinate services with partners, monitor client progress, maintain tracking systems for reporting outcomes, and stay informed about community resources and eligibility requirements to ensure timely access and long-term stability for participants.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • proficient in reading and writing in English
  • experience working with clients with histories of substance abuse, incarceration, mental illness, or homelessness
  • familiar with eligibility screening for entitlement programs such as DPSS, Vocational Rehab, and CalWORKs, as well as other compatible service systems like SSI
  • comply with agency policies, procedures, and HIPAA
  • comfortable working with diverse populations, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, formerly incarcerated clients, and those with co-occurring disorders
  • strong verbal and written communication skills

  • possess a current California driver’s license with car registration and car insurance
