About The Position

The Manager is responsible for delivering and overseeing care given by the Respiratory Care, Neurology, Pulmonary Lab, Pulmonary Rehab and Sleep Lab Departments that is safe, respectful, efficient and consistent with the generally accepted standards of care, according to pulmonary standards. Oversees day-to-day department operational and clinical activities. Supervise staff and give technical direction, delegate staff responsibilities. Manage the selection, training and development of staff. Meet budgetary guidelines, utilize operational resources, and participate in program development. Assure services are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements. Supports the strategic imperatives of Heritage Valley through goal-oriented department operations.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Care or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and respiratory care experience.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in respiratory care.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Care.
