About The Position

Job Description: You will be the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer for the IAMD Line-of-Business, supporting Production Test Equipment and Test Software activities in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of test systems, and you will play a key role in providing technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise. What You Will Be Doing As the ATE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting test systems, providing technical expertise, and driving improvements to test equipment and software. You will work with a range of technologies, including TestStand, LabVIEW, and CVI, to control signal generation and measurement tools, conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and functional testing. Further Information About This Opportunity: This position is in Grand Prairie, TX. This position requires the ability to travel up to 20% to Camden, AR and Lufkin, TX. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related and 1+ years of professional experience or equivalent professional experience.
Experience supporting Electronics Test Equipment, including Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) and Unit Under Test (UUT) Cabling.
Experience supporting Software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
No clearance required to start.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

Proficient with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand.
Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment for DoD products.

Responsibilities

Upgrading / Supporting test equipment hardware and software as needed.
Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions
Troubleshooting and problem-solving test equipment issues
Collaborating with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting
