Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
  • 5 years of successful, relevant software development and validation experience.
  • A clear understanding of the Agile methodology.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience using Configuration Management Systems (CMS) such as Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Basic Software Version Control experience (Git, Github).
  • Test Automation experience using frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) principles and frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Proficiency in Manual System Integration Testing.
  • Proficiency in testing user interfaces (UI) and/or human-machine interfaces (HMI).
  • Strong knowledge of testing concepts (integration, regression, functional/non-functional, system).
  • Experience using requirements management tools such as JAMA software, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of defect lifecycle (creation, triage).
  • Proficiency in API testing (end-to-end).
  • A strong understanding of API concepts, such as REST, JSON, XML, and HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE).
  • Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and troubleshoot issues related to API integrations, network communications, and UI/HMI behavior.
  • Experience working with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, or similar tools.
  • Experience using Charles Proxy (or similar, to intercept, inspect, and modify API requests).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Automotive OEMs.
  • Experience testing Android devices.
  • Experience using ADB (Android Debug Bridge).
  • Web services concepts (RESTful APIs, SOAP, and GraphQL).
  • Experience working with communication protocols (USB, TCP/IP).

Responsibilities

  • Work within a geographically distributed QA team as a strong individual contributor.
  • Create and execute test cases that conform to the requirements of an OEM implementation.
  • Perform manual and automated testing, ranging from functional to stress testing.
  • Collaborate effectively with developers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
