QUALCOMM's Government (QGOV) division develops special products based on its wireless terrestrial technologies for the military, federal and local governments. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented System Test & Integration Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless integration and robust performance of complex systems across hardware, software, and network components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system-level testing, integration methodologies, and troubleshooting across multidisciplinary platforms.

  • Design, develop, and execute system-level test plans and procedures for integrated hardware and software systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and systems engineering to define integration strategies and resolve issues.
  • Perform integration testing to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and drive corrective actions.
  • Develop automated test scripts and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
  • Serve as liaison between technical teams, in internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations.
  • Support system verification and validation activities in lab and field environments.
  • Document test results, integration issues, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Previous cellular protocol experience in one or more of the following (3G, 4G, 5G)
  • Mobile platform operating systems exposure including Android, and iOS.
  • Programming skills (C/C++, C#, Java)
  • RF measurement, network protocol analyzer tools and familiarity with Wireshark, and iPerf.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
