The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking a System Integration & Test Engineer to be part of a team producing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity. Summary of Key Duties for this position: Responsible for the day to day technical leadership of the System Integration Test team that is performing hardware-in-the-loop system integration testing across multiple lab environments to ensure the product is tested in a manner that is as close to an operational mission as possible Lead the planning and design of system integration test event configurations utilizing traditional as well as model based techniques Lead the creation, development, and maintenance of test plans and procedures that support the system integration testing Supporting internal product team and customer-led technical working groups

Requirements

  • Interim Secret Clearance required
  • Experience with Hardware in the Loop System Integration Testing
  • Experience writing and executing test procedures in a development test integration lab environment
  • Experience leading a team of test engineers and/or technicians

Nice To Haves

  • Willingness/ability to present to high level customers and LM executives
  • Prior experience working with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
  • Experience testing embedded Missile Systems in a development test integration lab environment
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, schematics, specifications and requirements
  • Experience in or adjacent to test engineering with knowledge of hardware integration and test flows
  • Team Leadership or Project Management Experience of a Multi Functional/Discipline Team
  • Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Space Systems system tools (SAP, EPDM, VECAMS, PMP Database, Automation Framework etc.) or industry equivalent
  • Experience using basic lab equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build solid relationships with customer representatives, program management and team members
