We are expanding and looking for a Systems Integration and Test Engineer for our beautiful Westford MA facility. You will be a System Integration and Test Engineer at Lockheed Martin's Westford facility, responsible for supporting the design, development, and testing of complex systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline – Electrical, Computer, Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent professional level career experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products to generate status reports, project plans, work instructions, etc.
  • Prior experience with project execution, technical leadership, and product/test equipment lifecycle.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a secret security clearance and must be able to obtain at least an interim secret clearance prior to start, therefore you must be a US Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional level career experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with electrical parameter measurements typically required for components and subassemblies.
  • Proficiency with Radio Frequency or Microwave systems and subsystems.
  • Proficiency in developing complex test programs with NI LabVIEW and/or Test Stand development environments.
  • Proficiency researching and specifying components for test equipment design.
  • Proficiency troubleshooting measurement issues and isolating problems down to the test instrument, fixturing, software level or unit under test.
  • Proficiency generating assembly and block diagram sketches, parts lists and other types of engineering documentation.
  • Proficiency in Corrective/Preventative action process and implementation.
  • Proficiency deriving test requirements from design or system level requirements.
  • Proficiency reading, understanding and writing change orders to; assembly drawings and parts lists for test equipment and systems.
  • Experience preparing charts and giving presentations outlining technical issues, solutions or trade studies.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the design, development, and testing of complex digital, RF, and/or microwave custom automated test equipment (ATE) systems
  • Collaborating with engineering teams, program management teams, and production floor teams to ensure alignment and successful test equipment development
  • Troubleshooting and debugging existing test equipment and developing new equipment
  • Analyzing and resolving problems, and managing and prioritizing your own workload
  • Generating status reports, project plans, and work instructions using Microsoft Office products
  • Writing, editing, and supporting existing software code base (LabVIEW or C)
  • Working effectively on teams and communicating complex ideas clearly
