You will be the System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to support a program's system integration and system qualification initiatives in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for ensuring the successful integration and testing of major subsystems/systems and you will play a key role in working with a team of engineers to achieve technical excellence and mission success. As the Advanced Programs System Integration and Test Engineer you will be responsible for working in the laboratory onsite to plan, coordinate, conduct, and report on subsystem and system level testing - from initial integration through final acceptance tests. Duties include support of subsystem integration and testing, flight testing, use of automated test equipment during missile processing, and preparation of test related documentation. The candidate will support the development of procedures for missile functional testing using automated test equipment. This role will also require the candidate to assemble and test mockup missiles and live ordnance flight test missiles plus support flight testing at a Government Test Range requiring some travel for flight test operations. The candidate will work under only general direction reporting to a program Integration, Test, and Evaluation Lead. The candidate will communicate technical status and issues internally to program and functional leadership, as well as externally to customers. The candidate must be comfortable coordinating with various cross-functional organizations, groups and facilities to ensure program requirements are being met and in support of various test activities. When necessary, the candidate will travel to Lockheed Martin production facilities, supplier's facilities, and customer facilities.
