About The Position

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to support the Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE)/Aegis program's system integration and system qualification initiatives. Our team is responsible for executing sub-system and system level integration and tests for new and existing products. As the IT&E Engineer, you will be responsible for working in the laboratory onsite, generating and executing sub-system and system level integration and test plans/procedures, supporting the preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events, and supporting Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for new hardware. You will also support failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software and test equipment anomalies that have occurred during system and subsystem testing, and provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing missile. This position requires the ability to travel to White Sands Missile Range, NM and other test ranges to support program test events and meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent related professional experience
  • Familiarity with common lab equipment: Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Interim Clearance is required to start

Nice To Haves

  • Ability in reading electrical and wiring schematics and related hardware drawings
  • Familiar with uncommon lab equipment: milliohm meter, igniter tester, spectrum analyzers
  • Foundational knowledge of troubleshooting analog and digital electronics
  • Experienced writing skills for Test Plans, Test Procedures and Test Reports

Responsibilities
