About The Position

2026 Network Engineering Intern Lockheed Martin's Enterprise Information Technology (IT) team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Digital Workplace and Communication Services (DWCS) group. As a Network Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with our Data Center Network (DCN) Service Team and DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) Service team on exciting projects that deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable network environments for the enterprise. Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a computer-related major (such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field).
  • Have basic knowledge of Networking Fundamentals Concepts.
  • Have familiarity with network hardware like routers and switches.
  • Interest in developing troubleshooting skills using tools, automation and scripts.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python.
  • Basic understanding of network security concepts.
  • Be willing and able to obtain a security clearance, as required for certain projects and assignments.
