About The Position

As a System HIL Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in various duties and tasks in
the System HIL lab. This includes certain tasks like mechanical and electrical assembly, vehicle
harness assembly, bench level soldering and rework, design build out and deployment of
upcoming test benches for software validation and functional system testing.

Requirements

• Technical degree or certification in electronics, or related field
• 3+ years of electronics technician experience.
• Experience with building cables and using crimp tools.
• Experience with soldering tools and building PCBAs with 0402 components.
• Ability to read/understand schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and 2D drawing programs.
• Experience with shop hand tools and power tools.
• Able to move / lift heavy boxes and equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiar with 3D printers and using a 3D drawing program.
• Familiar with configuring network interfaces on Windows and Linux PCs.
• Able to program in C or Python.
• Experience with MIG or TIG welding.
