About The Position

A senior end-user services engineer is a technical expert who resolves complex IT issues, mentors staff, and supports IT initiatives. Their responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software, managing user accounts, performing system maintenance, mentoring other technicians, and collaborating with our managed service provider (MSP). This onsite role requires advanced technical skills, leadership abilities, strong communication, and onsite pr to act as a liaison between users and the IT department.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Windows OS administration (Windows 10/11).
  • Familiarity with Office 365 suite (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity management.
  • Solid understanding of cloud services (user access, connectivity).
  • Knowledge of endpoint security tools (antivirus, encryption, patching).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service orientation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Intune or other endpoint management tools.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Exposure to ticketing systems and change management workflows.
  • Understanding of compliance/security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)

Responsibilities

  • Laptop/Desktop/Workstation Setup & Maintenance
  • Configure and deploy Windows-based laptops and desktops for new hires and existing staff.
  • Manage OS updates, patches, and endpoint security tools.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • User Support
  • Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 support for employees via ticketing system, email, or chat.
  • Resolve issues related to Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Support identity and access management through Microsoft Entra (Azure AD).
  • Cloud & Network Support
  • Assist with user connectivity to cloud-hosted applications and services.
  • Troubleshoot VPN, Wi-Fi, and network access issues.
  • Escalate complex cloud or infrastructure issues to senior engineers/vendors.
  • Access Management
  • Create and manage user accounts in Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Handle password resets, MFA setup, and group membership changes.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and least-privilege access.
  • Documentation & Process
  • Maintain IT knowledge base and standard operating procedures.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for recurring issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of IT support processes.
  • Constant collaboration with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) to refine processes over time.
