MANTECH seeks an experienced and passionate, career and customer-oriented System Engineer to join our team located in the Fort Meade, MD area.
Requirements
- 14+ years of systems engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline or an Associate's degree with 19 years of systems engineering experience may be substituted.
- Experience with Nuntanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI)
- Experience with DevOps tools such as nxLog, Graphana, Docker, Kubernetes, GIT, SaltStack (SALT)
- Experience with NiFi to forward collected log events to repository for analysis.
- Ability to launch and configure VMWare instances
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Poly
Nice To Haves
- Use SALT to deploy config files to end nodes and do various interrogations (Ping, DNS)
- Experience with installing PKI certs
- Create/Maintain bash scripts to dump and load databases

Responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience creating and managing virtual environments
- Systems administration of hardware and software in support of maintenance, developing and testing of information technology systems
- Leverage IT automation to perform daily tasked associated with data repositories on air-gapped networks.
- Experience configuring and maintaining storage and file systems
- Experience in developing and delivering briefings, technical presentations, and program documentation to senior program management
