About The Position

We are seeking an energetic and organized System Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be actively involved in the entire lifecycle of complex systems, from initial design and integration to deployment and maintenance. You will be a key figure in helping to drive our mission forward by ensuring our technical architecture is robust and aligned with program goals. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team, interface with stakeholders, and make a significant impact on high-priority projects. Your technical skills and collaborative spirit will be critical in helping to solve complex challenges.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Candidates without a current clearance will not be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in a systems engineering role.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles, standards, and the full development lifecycle.
  • Experience with network profiling, fingerprinting, and security principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and organize technical tasks and priorities.
  • Experience contributing to the design or architecture of IT systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working within a collaborative team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline OR Four (4) additional years in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Experience with web hosting/monitoring.
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures (e.g., Lambda) and/or containerization (e.g., Docker).
  • Background or familiarity with mobile technology systems and infrastructure.
  • Experience working within an Agile or a DevOps environment.
  • Relevant professional certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the architectural design and integration of complex, enterprise-level systems.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test plans.
  • Utilize strong organizational skills to track and manage technical tasks and milestones.
  • Support the implementation of strategic plans for infrastructure management and automation
  • Act as a technical point of contact, collaborating between the engineering team and program management.
