RBR-Technologies is seeking a System Engineer to support one of our customers in Maryland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the certification of cryptographic high assurance devices and experience with High Assurance products and IASRD/SERD requirements. Some of the responsibilities associated with the position include (but are not limited to): Perform system security analyses, risk assessments, and compliance reviews of contractor deliverables against the Information Assurance Security Requirements Directive (IASRD) and the Security Evaluation Requirements Document (SERD) Document findings and recommend design adjustments or process improvements to ensure certification success Coordinate with design/development teams to integrate cryptographic requirements early in the system lifecycle Define, plan, and execute security testing and validation activities in coordination with NSA certification authorities Develop verification methods to ensure devices meet performance and security standards. Support lab and field testing of cryptographic devices, documenting results for certification submission Serve as a liaison between the contractor's engineering team and customer stakeholders Additional responsibilities associated with the position include: Preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. Managing system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) - Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), etc Contributing to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents Coordinating the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination Participating in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations
