Support all phases of systems engineering as required by the project/program from concept, planning, design, execution, integration, testing, and into operations with lifecycle support. Lead and be a member of cross functional teams (CFT) with the fundamental role of implementing a Requirements Engineering Management structure as the CFT plans, executes, and verifies turnover readiness. Facilitate the creation and approval of systems and requirements management deliverables such as Functional & Operational Requirement Documents, System Requirement Documents, Project Scoping Documents, Analysis of Alternatives, Operational Concepts and various others. Use a requirement management software suite to trace and manage requirements, provide requirements gap analyses at critical project milestones or stage gates, and confirm closure of requirement verifications at project completion. Provide Digital Engineering solutions using software tools when applicable, based upon project size and complexity: Vitec Genesys and Cameo Model Based Systems Engineering, IBM DOORS (Classic and Next Generation), Flex SIM, Extend Sim modeling & simulation tools, Model Center. Select LSE's may support Digital Transformation activity with Y-12 and/or the NSE and developing procedures and guidance for various tools and departmental process.
