Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a Systems Engineer, Project Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Office 365 administration.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Experience deploying and troubleshooting firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Meraki, or SonicWall), networking equipment, and VPN solutions.
  • Proficiency in virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive, client-focused approach.
  • Strong documentation skills to include writing SOPs.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or Fortinet NSE.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Experience with RMM tools, ITSM platforms, and automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Security principles and modern endpoint management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Microsoft Intune and Azure AD migrations, ensuring seamless transitions for clients.
  • Deploy and manage Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Design and implement networking solutions, including firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless networks.
  • Perform Microsoft 365 migrations (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams).
  • Configure and support virtualization platforms, such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Work with project managers to deliver high-quality IT solutions on time and within scope.
  • Provide documentation, technical training, and support to clients.
