The Systems Engineer for Switching Regulators at Texas Instruments will play a pivotal role in developing and promoting new products in a dynamic team environment. This position involves researching product definitions, analyzing market trends, and providing technical support to customers while driving design wins and revenue growth.

  • Research and create new product definitions, including developing business case proposals and product strategies.
  • Analyze key end-equipment in automotive, industrial, consumer, and computing spaces to identify future trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assess and negotiate IC development tradeoffs with design team and customers.
  • Act as the technical expert responsible for product ramp-up for customers.
  • Conduct silicon system evaluations and related documentation.
  • Provide application support for newly introduced and existing products.
  • Support and train central applications engineering and sales organizations on new/existing products.
  • Drive new design wins for new and existing products.
  • Troubleshoot customer application issues through lab testing and schematic analysis.
  • Interface across different functional groups to resolve customer problems quickly.
  • Assist with generating the revenue plan for the organization.
  • Define successful new products and take them to market.
  • Create technical literature such as datasheets and application notes.
  • Build relationships with customers and field teams to identify and solve system problems.
  • Contribute to the short and long-term product strategy and roadmap.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal, Power ICs and their applications.
  • Experience promoting/marketing ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutions.
  • Strong customer-facing skills.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment.
  • System level circuit modeling with EDA tools, SPICE, Matlab, SIMPLIS.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results.
