Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a System Engineer (Radar System Integration and Test) Summer Intern. In this role, you will work alongside experienced radar system and software engineers to integrate and test complex cutting-edge solid state radars. You will work in a fast-paced hands-on environment integrating and verifying system-level performance and functionality of active electronically scanned array antennas and radar control systems. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of RF principles and RF/digital signal processing. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or related discipline
Coursework or experience in one of more of the following: Electromagnetics, Antenna Theory, Signals and Systems
Familiar with MATLAB or Python.
Must be a US Citizen.
This position will require a government security clearance.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

Experience integrating and testing complex electronic/computer-based systems
Familiar with working in a Linux-based environment
Basic knowledge of JIRA for issue tracking
Proficiency in using MATLAB for signal processing, data analysis, automation
Familiar with use of test equipment used to analyze digital or RF signals (e.g. spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc.)
