Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a System Engineer (Radar System Integration and Test) Summer Intern. In this role, you will work alongside experienced radar system and software engineers to integrate and test complex cutting-edge solid state radars. You will work in a fast-paced hands-on environment integrating and verifying system-level performance and functionality of active electronically scanned array antennas and radar control systems. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of RF principles and RF/digital signal processing. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or related discipline
  • Coursework or experience in one of more of the following: Electromagnetics, Antenna Theory, Signals and Systems
  • Familiar with MATLAB or Python.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position will require a government security clearance.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience integrating and testing complex electronic/computer-based systems
  • Familiar with working in a Linux-based environment
  • Basic knowledge of JIRA for issue tracking
  • Proficiency in using MATLAB for signal processing, data analysis, automation
  • Familiar with use of test equipment used to analyze digital or RF signals (e.g. spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc.)
