About The Position

Join the nationally recognized Aspirus Health System as the new System Director of Nursing Workforce Planning & Management, located in the beautiful state of Wisconsin. The System Director of Nursing Workforce Planning & Management will lead the strategic planning, development, implementation, and oversight of patient care workforce initiatives across the Aspirus Health system. Reporting directly to the Vice President, System Nursing Operations, this leader will work in close collaboration with Chief Nursing Officers across various business units. The System Director will be expected to develop a comprehensive, multi-year workforce strategy. Additionally, they will establish and implement key metrics to meet budget and staffing goals and work to minimize agency rate reliance. Ideal candidates will have previous Director-level experience in a similar setting. Strong relationship-building and communication skills will be essential, along with proficiency in project management and critical thinking. This position is based in Wausau and not eligible for remote or hybrid work.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business is required.
• At least five years of leadership experience within a multi-system healthcare environment is essential.
