About The Position

System Clinical Staff Educator is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing education offerings for employees in the inpatient and outpatient settings that correlate with the mission, vision, policies, and key initiatives. The primary responsibility is to enhance through education the performance of those who serve our patients and customers. This position will have a home base of MMC Dickinson but is a Marshfield Clinic Region position. Some travel is expected as a system educator to support training needs and to receive training as the educator. Requirements

  • For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
  • Minimum Required: Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing. Individuals with an associate degree in nursing must obtain a bachelor's degree nursing within three years of hire date.
  • Minimum Required: Three years clinical experience, to include experience in an acute and/or ambulatory care setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association and Crisis Prevention Institute certification within one year of hire.
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support or Pediatric Advanced Life Support Recognition and Instructor based on business need.
  • Applicable certifications and license based up degree held: Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license. Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or Nurse Compact License will need to be obtained if not held at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred/Optional: Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Preferred/Optional: Two years nursing experience utilized in an acute and/or ambulatory care setting. Experience in an academic or instructional setting.
