About The Position

The position is responsible for working collaboratively with department managers to implement initiatives and programs that help meet financial revenue, operating efficiency, and strategic goals, as well as regulatory requirements. The role involves driving the business to write user stories, gathering and documenting requirements, and acting as a Scrum Master, serving as a liaison between IT and the business line on assigned projects and initiatives. The individual will coordinate test plans to meet project requirements and help drive user acceptance testing to produce quality deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, engineering, or comparable experience.
  • 3+ years of banking experience and business line expertise.
  • 5+ years of business analysis experience.
  • Experience in gathering user stories and managing backlogs in a DevOps environment.
  • 2+ years of experience with issue tracking and project management tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, and/or Smartsheet.
  • Experience with Agile and waterfall software development techniques.
  • Experience with vendor management.

  • Experience in Quality Assurance, test plans, and test coordination.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
  • PMI Professional in Business Analysis certification.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Scrum Master, working closely with the development team, vendors, and product owners to define the backlogs and lead the team to promote the program.
  • Provide both strategic and detailed support to the Product Owner on significant projects and initiatives.
  • Assist with delivery of initiatives according to agreed-upon timeline, budget, and scope under an agile framework.
  • Act as Project Manager preparing project artifacts as required by the Tech Transformation Management Office Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Facilitate daily scrum stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint demos, retrospectives, and Scrum meetings.
  • Help to track and remove impediments.
  • Shield the Scrum Team from outside distractions and interferences.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to gather requirements and help stakeholders to write user stories.
  • Document current state and future state process workflows.
  • Proactively collaborate with the business to identify potential process improvements and enhancements.
  • Translate business needs into design documents and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed specifications for IT to program application solutions.
  • Work with vendors on configuring third-party solutions.
  • Coordinate resolution of issues with business users.
  • Act as testing coordinator for key initiatives as needed by Application Delivery Manager.
  • Define, document the test plan, and coordinate user acceptance testing.
  • Govern the User Stories dashboard and prepare project artifacts.
  • Ensure requirements inventory is properly maintained and validate traceability to testing.
  • Identify and share best practices to grow the Business Analyst and Scrum Master community of practice.
  • Establish and maintain business line partnerships.
  • Adhere to and comply with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance.
