About The Position

We need your help in creating the next generation of systems and architectures, in the propulsion, thermal and battery domains. This will require broad skills and knowledge in methods of evaluating system efficiency, vehicle level impact of component and system architecture choices, in terms of efficiency, performance or other system level technical metrics. You will also help guide component and subsystem experts in technical innovations that bring the most value at a system level. You also should be able to creatively come up with new integration ideas or concepts that combine new or known subsystems in a synergistic way to unlock system level benefits, either through change in architecture or controls strategies. The work may involve development of proof-of-concept hardware to further prove out concepts that look promising in virtual development. A typical candidate would have deep technical expertise in either area (propulsion, or thermal or batteries) and significant experience with system level assessment and skills, that can be transferred across different domains.
