This team is challenged daily to provide cutting edge technology solutions to our clients. SRC is searching for a well-rounded Infrastructure Engineer lead design of Information Technology (IT) systems and architecture, security and compliance management, and performance monitoring and optimization of all cabling installations to support the installation requirements for United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) command and control facilities. Manages and coordinates the systems design and provides installation oversight at a new facility by engaging with functional area managers (FAMs) and other project and systems engineers to ensure USSPACECOM systems operate at peak functionality. Work supporting USSPACECOM will be conducted at the government's facilities in Colorado Springs, CO. Developing and designing comprehensive system architectures (e.g. VDI, CDI, etc.) that meet USSPACECOM requirements Ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and capable of integrating with existing and future USSPACECOM infrastructure Implementing and enforcing USSPACECOM cybersecurity protocols and policies within system designs Ensuring all systems comply with USSPACECOM regulations, standards, and best practices, including NIST guidelines and other relevant frameworks Providing technical leadership to the systems engineering team and other IT staff Serving as the subject matter expert on system architecture and information systems management Monitoring system performance to identify and resolve issues and improve efficiency Implementing optimization strategies to enhance system performance and reliability Evaluating and selecting technologies and vendors that align with USSPACECOM criteria and project requirements Managing vendor relationships and ensuring they meet contractual obligations and performance standards Providing training and knowledge transfer to systems engineers and other relevant personnel Ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to maintain and support the systems architecture and IT infrastructure #LI-LH1

Requirements

  • 5 years minimum experience as System Architect - Information System Lead supporting a DOD program of similar in size and scope (33-40 personnel)
  • Any two of the four listed Microsoft exams listed below: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solutions Architect Expert Microsoft Certified: Administrator Expert Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
  • 7 years minimum of hands-on professional experience as System Architect - Information System Lead for program/project of similar size and scope ($40M-50M, 35-40 personnel)
  • Possess IAT/IAM Level II or greater (e.g. Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)
  • Master's level degree in an Engineering, Computer Science, or IT related field OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or IT related field and additional five years of experience in Engineering, Computer Science or IT related fields
  • 3 years of hands-on professional experience with Everfox Trusted Thin Client (TTC)
  • U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
