About The Position

Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking for an System and Data Analyst to join the Digital Support team in a Hybrid role in Englewood CO. This position will focus on advanced support, deployment of Boeing’s Digital Solutions Data Analytics Solutions portfolio, and various tools or services for the development and publication of technical data. This position responds to escalated customer technical support inquiries for external and internal users resulting in a high degree of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science, technology, engineering or math field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Experience supporting computer applications in an operational mode.
  • Experience of communicating with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience of infrastructure components and ETL pipelines.
  • Occasional off-hours weekend work may be needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of databases such as MySQL, POSTGreSQL.
  • Understanding of SQL, Python and regular expressions.
  • Understanding of maintaining Unix-based servers.
  • Understanding of APIs, networking concepts and data transfer mechanisms.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure management tools.
  • Aviation knowledge and/or data standards a plus.
  • Understanding of various data structures such as JSON, PARQ, XML.
  • Experience in customer support and/or service desk role.
  • Microsoft or other computer technical certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving.
  • Serves as key technical support expert for Boeing customers.
  • Collaborates with teams across the company, including product management and development, engineering teams, Service Managers and Incident Managers on resolving complex issues and software bugs.
  • Respond to inquiries and guide internal and external customers through specific procedures to ensure the highest quality software performance and department goals are met.
  • Respond to all inquiries for technical support within defined service level agreements.
  • Enter information into customer resource management tool in order to ensure proper tracking and metric reports are sent to development and or appropriate business units.
  • Develop as a subject matter expert in various solutions in accordance with business or team needs.
  • Escalate tickets to tier 2/3 clearly and concisely.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot data processing failures and anomalies.
  • Identify source data format and structure irregularities and changes.
  • Maintain working knowledge base and tech support internal troubleshooting websites, resources, and tools.
  • Perform other duties as required.
