Federal Signal Corporation is seeking a skilled IT professional to manage and maintain our Windows Servers and related infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and other domain services. Additionally, the role involves monitoring and maintaining the SCOM environment, handling virtualization technologies such as Nutanix, and overseeing Windows patch management. The candidate will also be tasked with creating, updating, and maintaining infrastructure processes and procedures, as well as managing incidents and changes effectively.

  • Manage Windows Servers (2016 - 2025)
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory
  • Manage DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Certificates, and other domain services
  • Manage, monitor and maintain SCOM environment
  • Handle virtualization technologies such as Nutanix
  • Oversee Windows patch management
  • Create, update, and maintain infrastructure processes and procedures as required
  • Manage incident and change management
  • Bachelor's Degree (or the equivalent) in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • 5+ years of data center, infrastructure, and customer support experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical experience with Enterprise technologies
  • MCSE certification preferred
  • Proficiency with configuration and management of Windows Server and Linux operating systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory design, configuration and administration
  • Strong background/skills with configuration, reporting and alerting with Microsoft SCOM
  • Proficient with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with managing and maintaining virtualization technologies such as Nutanix
  • Experience with the design, implementation and support of Microsoft Azure and other cloud technologies such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise server security and patch management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of change management
  • Strong understanding of Windows Active Directory, DHCP and DNS
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for networks, servers, and other systems
  • Ability to work on complex assignments, prioritize work and seek escalation in a timely manner
