Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible. Job Description: What You'll Be Doing: Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. Administer Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure secure and efficient network operations. Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of ESX/VMware and Hyper-V virtual environments. Utilize Ansible for automation of system configurations, deployments, and updates. Manage and support cloud environments, including AWS and Microsoft Azure, ensuring secure and efficient cloud operations. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary updates and patches. Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, including those specific to classified environments. Perform regular backups and recovery operations to safeguard critical data. Collaborate with other IT and security teams to integrate and secure systems within the classified environment. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes. Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff as needed. Understand and apply the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to ensure systems are secure and compliant. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for system administration tasks. Work closely with the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to address security requirements and support accreditation efforts.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Minimum Proven experience as a System Administrator in a classified environment, preferably within the intelligence community or DoD.
  • Strong proficiency in managing Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Extensive experience with Cisco network devices and configurations.
  • Expertise in ESX/VMware and Hyper-V virtual environments.
  • Proficiency with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Experience managing and supporting cloud environments, including AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols and compliance requirements for classified environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with additional automation tools and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of advanced network security practices and tools.
  • Experience in providing technical support and training to end-users.
  • Microsoft Azure Certifications
