MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Systems Administrator, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the customer’s mission. Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure components to ensure optimal operation. Perform system administration tasks including software installations, updates, and patch management. Provide technical support to resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Support the implementation of new IT systems, applications, and infrastructure as needed. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or system administration roles.
  • Proficiency in managing Windows, Linux, or other operating systems.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
  • Proficiency with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
  • Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret and SCI eligible
  • US Citizenship Required
  • DoD 8140 IAT II compliant
