Belay Technologies is seeking a System Administrator to join our intel team. This position is for a System Administrator to support mission critical application and systems in support of multiple Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) projects. The work is in support of multiple Endpoint Services projects to include JBlocks capabilities associated with ZeroTrust and TITUS. The selected candidate will serve in a System Administrator role to keep the system operational, compliant and perform trouble shooting as needed. This candidate provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

  • Ten (10) years experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 4 years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree for a total of 14 years.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher is required if COR determines that the position's activities include CWIP activities
  • Proactive, problem-solving skills
  • Possess an in depth understanding of RedHat Linux 8 and above
  • Possess an in depth understanding of Win10/Win11
  • Familiarity with AWS/eVo
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with CM, monitoring, version control and infrastructure deployment tools
  • Perform system startup & shutdown
  • Perform vulnerability scans on Linux and Windows
  • Conduct patch management on Linux and Windows
  • Create/update a wide variety of documentation and diagrams: System Security Plans, Security CONOPS, FAQ’s , How To’s
  • Maintain current documentation
  • Ability to work with little supervision
